Trampoline park standard size

Trampoline park standard size

In recent years, trampoline sports have become a new business opportunity for some people to invest in. However, before purchasing a trampoline, you also need to consider the trampoline height and size . Below we will analyze the recommended trampoline height and size for you, hoping to help you reduce the risks.

Minimum ceiling height required for trampoline park

The minimum ceiling height required for trampoline park is generally about 5 meters.
This is because people will jump up to a large extent when exercising on trampoline, and sufficient space is needed to ensure the safety of users and avoid collision of the head and other parts with the ceiling. At the same time, it can also allow users to have a more comfortable exercise experience and fully enjoy the fun brought by trampoline. In addition, the height of 5 meters can also leave a certain amount of space for installing lighting equipment, ventilation systems, etc. Of course, in the actual design and construction, the ceiling height will be appropriately adjusted according to the specific layout of the trampoline park.

Professional trampoline height required

Professional trampoline sports have strict requirements on the height of the venue. Generally speaking, the net height from the trampoline plane to the ceiling or the top of the venue must be at least 8 meters.
This height requirement is to ensure that athletes have enough space to perform aerial flips, rotations and other movements when completing various difficult movements, and avoid collisions and injuries due to insufficient space. In some large professional trampoline competition venues, the height may be higher, which can provide a safer and more comfortable competition environment.

Average Trampoline Park Size

There is no fixed standard for the average size of trampoline park, which will be affected by many factors.

Small trampoline park:

The area is usually around 300-500 square meters. Its trampoline area may be composed of multiple small trampolines, which will provide a more compact trampoline experience in a limited space.

Medium-sized trampoline park:

The area is generally between 500 and 1,000 square meters. This type of trampoline park can provide more abundant trampoline projects, such as professional trampoline area, free jumping area, sponge pool area, etc., and can accommodate dozens to hundreds of people at the same time.

Large trampoline park:

The area is more than 1,000 square meters, or even thousands of square meters. In addition to the diverse trampoline areas, there may also be a variety of expansion projects such as ninja challenge areas, zip lines, rock climbing walls, etc., so the required height may also be higher.

Trampoline park height and size recommendations

As mentioned above, to ensure safety and a good experience, the ceiling height of a trampoline park should generally not be less than 5 meters. If the venue allows, a ceiling of 5.5-6 meters or even higher would be more ideal, and the common trampoline frame height is about 1-1.5 meters. For trampolines in children's areas, the frame height can be appropriately reduced to 0.8-1 meters to increase the safety of children when using it.
As for the size of the trampoline, if it is mainly for children aged 3-12, an area of about 500-1000 square meters is enough. If you want to build a comprehensive trampoline park suitable for all ages, the area is preferably 1000-2000 square meters or even larger. This can integrate multiple functional sections such as children's play area, adult sports area, leisure area, etc., to provide richer projects and better experience.
